ALGORTIMO Leggero
- Italiano
BAIFF 2025 Honorable Mention - Where does truth end, and where does fiction begin? This is the question at the heart of "Leggero", the latest music video by Algoritmo, the AI-generated artist. The video follows a surreal day in Milan, where Algoritmo moves through a world where fiction is accepted as truth—from being a guest on a Tv Show to starring in gossip headlines, a fashion ad, and even appearing next to Trump and Zelensky. Everything feels hyper-real, blurring the line between reality and artificiality. Overwhelmed by the illusion of authenticity, Algoritmo—an artificial being himself—experiences a shift when he locks eyes with Andy Warhol in the subway. Warhol, the icon of Pop Art and image reproduction, simply smiles, as if revealing a deeper truth: perhaps reality has always been a construct. At that moment, Algoritmo embraces lightness. The world transforms, and people around him begin to float, freed from the weight of meaning and judgment. In the final surreal moment, he too rises above Milan, finally accepting his nature. The video embodies the theme of the song’s chorus: "I live lightly because, bro, there’s nothing real" (Vivo leggero perché fra non c'è niente di vero).
Armed Peace

Love Is a Dog From Hell
- English (US)
BAIFF 2025 Best Music Video - After the death of their father, two siblings fight for the throne, thereby causing a civil war known as the Dance of the Dragons. Rhaenyra tries to hold the realm together as the tension rises following a tragic loss. Meanwhile, Daemon prepares for war.Love is a Dog from Hell" is a compelling and experimental short film that offers a fragmented ode to longing, exploring the profound and often painful emotional residue of love through a surreal, stream-of-consciousness visual journey. Shot entirely on an iPhone and innovatively infused with AI-generated imagery, the film masterfully blurs the line between tangible memory and abstract hallucination, inviting viewers into an intimate, dreamlike exploration of the human heart. The narrative deliberately dissolves, allowing moments of intense tenderness and unsettling violence to interweave fluidly. Hands reach, eyes close, and voices echo through a meticulously crafted tapestry of glitching pixels and synthetic skies. Love in this context is not a linear narrative but rather a visceral texture—a fever dream that cycles without conventional resolve. Through its unique fusion of lo-fi intimacy and algorithmic fantasy, "Love is a Dog from Hell" poses poignant questions: What remains when affection transcends its tangible form and becomes pure abstraction? And what shape does the profound experience of heartbreak take when rendered and reinterpreted by the evolving language of machines? The film stands as a testament to the evocative power of contemporary filmmaking tools to explore timeless human experiences with raw honesty and groundbreaking visual artistry.
